MINERVA History

MINERVA was born from the buyout of an international management consultancy. Its initial focus was on the U.S. market and investments for tax-oriented private investors.

Activities in Germany

In 1990, MINERVA undertook its first renovation projects in Berlin. This lead to its role as developer of numerous projects and its purchase of existing properties. During this period it acquired multi-family properties and residential estates in Berlin and eastern Germany.

Starting in 2004, MINERVA has partnered with a private equity company to compile a residential portfolio consisting of residential units in Berlin. A total of 300,000 sqm of residential and commercial property was acquired and is currently in active management.

MINERVA assumed the portfolio’s asset management to develop and increase the value of the company. In 2008 the portfolio was sold to a Canadian pension fund and asset management was continued as a service.

MINERVA stands for exceptional lifestyle and comfort and can look back on a 20-year track record in investment and development. MINERVA’s single-family portfolio now contains more than 11,000 houses that are primarily located in the vicinity of Atlanta.

In addition, MINERVA offers investments in multi-family properties through various joint ventures.

In 2001, MINERVA partnered with U.S. and European investors to create the Parc Communities, which offer elegant luxury apartments for independent seniors. All Parc Communities offer personalized services by well-trained personnel and include concierge, personal trainers and an exquisite cuisine.
